Iona, Scotland, is a 3.5 square mile island off the western coast of Scotland among the Inner Hebrides. It is known as a “Thin Place.”

What is a “Thin Place?”
A “thin place” is where the veil between heaven and earth is thin.

Come join Rev. Jennifer Orr on a transformational pilgrimage to Iona. We will have 8 spots available on our next pilgrimage.

Information about the Pilgrimage

We will be updating price and what it covers soon because it will be different.
In 2026, $1,995 was the total cost of the trip. We will try to keep it as close to this as possible.
This cost covered the following items: housing on Iona, 4 dinners, breakfast supplies, some lunch supplies, class materials, Staffa outing, and Spiritual Director’s compensation.
Not covered: 1 dinner (a meal out together), lunches, any extra outings, travel to Iona, and any other shopping.
There is a payment plan for the pilgrimage. $200 down payment will reserve your spot.

balance due close to trip
You will need to get to Glasgow, Scotland. From there you will take multiple forms of transportation (ferries, bus, and train) to reach Iona.

This is not a vacation, but a spiritual growth opportunity (but you will have a GREAT time!)
Great opportunity: If you’re able, consider adding time at the beginning or end of your trip to explore other areas of the United Kingdom or Ireland.
